The Suns were swept in a series for the first time this season, falling 3-2 to the Lookouts on Saturday night at AT&T Field in Chattanooga.  The Lookouts won 12 of the 15 games against the Suns during the season.

The Suns took the lead in the sixth inning when Jake Jefferies walked with the bases loaded to force in a run and put Jacksonville up 1-0.  Danny Pertusati then grounded into a double play, with Ben Lasater scoring from third base to increase the lead to 2-0.

Jose Alvarez allowed just three hits in the first six innings.  The Lookouts collected four hits in the seventh and scored three times to jump in front 3-2.  Luis Nunez provided the big hit with a two-run home run.

The Suns loaded the bases in the top of the ninth with no outs, but were unable to score against reliever Steven Rodriguez.  Kyle Skipworth and Chris Gutierrez struck out, and Zack Cox grounded out to end the game.  The Suns have lost a season-high seven straight games.

Jacksonville opens a five-game series against the Birmingham Barons on Sunday at the Baseball Grounds, with the first pitch scheduled for 6:05 PM.
